no-flo Smart Stopcock

With an ageing population and more technology to contend with in the home the need for Smart devices is becoming increasingly necessary.

It is important to make home automation products not only useful but simple to use. The difficulty is trying to fit more than one device and all protocols to make the home automation journey much less frustrating and seamless.

Stopcock

No-flo is at its most basic a Smart stopcock. Able to be operated either from the unique kinetic switch, generating its own power, or via the free app. This allows the user to place the switch in a much more accessible position and is easier to use than the traditional stopcock, particularly useful for older and infirm users.

But the device is so much more than just to stopcock! It can become the centre of the home and other sensors can be added to prevent water leaks, detect quality or even just turn your water off when you’re sitting on a sunbed! Although the valve has been designed around a domestic application, there is no reason not to use it on an industrial project.

As standard the valve comes in 15 and 20 mm pipe diameters but there is also a 32 mm diameter available for industrial opportunities.

Leak detector

Once the valve is in place, the product can easily be turned into a leak detect shut off system. The sensors can be placed around the home where you think the leaks are more likely, and as many as you need.

If there is a leak in the area, a signal is sent to the valve to close, stopping further damage, and a signal is sent to your mobile phone to inform you where the leak has taken place.

A text message is then automatically sent to your phone to tell you there has been a leak in the house and the water has been shut off.
